OTR CDL-A Truck Driver – Waterloo, IA

Pay & Compensation:

• Weekly average: $1,951

• Yearly earnings: $101,452

• Stop pay: $35/stop (8–12 stops/week)

• Out-of-order pay: $55–$279/load (avg $96/week)

• West Coast dispatch bonus: $0.02/mile on west coast loads

• Show bonus: $1,000 ($500 at 30 days + $500 at 180 days)

• Safety bonus: Available

• Paid weekly

Schedule & Home Time:

• Out 10–11 days, home 3–4 days (midweek)

• Daytime deliveries 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM (most end 7:00–10:00 PM)

• Works all holidays except Christmas

• OTR position with full trip planning responsibility

Position Details:

• Freight: Floor-loaded kitchen & bathroom cabinets (individual boxes 50–100+ lbs)

• Driver unload required: tailgate, down-stack, and verify each piece

• Customer engagement & communication required (call 1 day prior + 1 hr prior to delivery)

• Paperwork: arrival/departure logs and BOL uploads

• Optional off-account work for extra pay

• 48-state exposure

Equipment & Freight Handling:

• Sleeper conventional truck, double bunk, automatic

• Refrigerator included

• Truck can be taken home with management approval

• Riders permitted after 90 days

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A

• Minimum 3 months tractor-trailer experience

• Steel-toe boots provided or $100/year reimbursement

• Customer service oriented

• Trip planning proficiency encouraged
